There's a Shaker village in southern NH, up Rte 93. It may be called Hancock Shaker Village.

There's a wonderful one called Pleasant Hill Shaker Village, in TN or KY, not far from Vanderbilt University. I stayed there once, and it was a quiet and peaceful experience. Except for the church, where worshippers stomped and flung themselves around when touched by the spirit, the homes have an energy of calm and connection with nature, well-crafted and simply designed.
